Infants, toddlers, children, and teenagers needing routine preventive care in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.
We count their teeth, check for cavities, and gently clean their smile. We’ll also provide fun, easy-to-understand brushing and flossing coaching for your child.
Only when necessary to detect hidden issues. We use child-sized sensors and lead protection for safety.
Every 6 months is standard, but some high-risk children may need visits every 3 months.
Accidents happen! If your child knocks out a permanent tooth, handle it only by the crown, rinse it gently with water, and try to reinsert it or store it in a glass of milk, then seek immediate care. For severe pain, swelling, or trauma, call our office right away. We keep time in our schedule specifically to accommodate urgent pediatric needs.
Baby teeth typically begin to erupt around 6 months of age, usually starting with the lower front teeth. By age 3, most children have a full set of 20 primary teeth. We monitor this eruption closely during your child’s visits to ensure everything is developing on a healthy, normal timeline.
Good habits start early. Begin by wiping your baby’s gums with a soft, damp cloth. Once teeth appear, brush twice daily with a tiny smear of fluoride toothpaste and a soft infant brush. Limit sugary snacks and drinks, and avoid putting your child to bed with a bottle of milk or juice to prevent "baby bottle tooth decay."
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that a child’s first dental visit occur by their first birthday, or within six months after their first tooth erupts. This early "Happy Visit" helps us monitor development and builds a foundation of trust, making future visits much less stressful.
